Changes in the structure of capital, its ownership and their impact on economy and society are changing. These structural changes in the capital and their implications on income and wealth distributions in eight developed countries are analysed by Thomas Piketty in his book Capital in the Twenty-First Century. The review of the book is made on the components such as methodology adopted, concepts used, economic background during 19th century, major findings and the comments about the book.
