The present work aims to design a Monte Carlo Simulation Model for an international port and identify a meaningful set of facilities, namely, hooks, forklifts, mobile cranes and electric cranes that would minimize the average service time per ship and the average waiting time per ship and thereby provide faster service. This model takes into consideration different costs involved.
