IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS - EMPIRICAL STUDY WITH REFERENCE TO SAIL, SALEM

An attempt has been made to investigate the impact of Organizational Culture on Organizational Effectiveness at Salem Steel Plant. For this purpose, respondents were selected by proportionate random sampling method. In view of the complexity of data, the responses were processed and analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling. After methodical analysis, it was proved that exogenous and endogenous factors fit into the good fit model. It is concluded that all the six variables of Organizational Culture influenced the Organizational Effectiveness. Strengthening the organizational culture could be done through addressing the various components of organizational culture li e nowledge about the organizational policy, values and belief, wor involvement and interpersonal relationship.
