The industrial securities market in India consists of new issue market and stock exchanges. NIM facilitates transfer of resources from savers to the users and transferring them to productive purposes, which is an important requisite of economic growth. There are various methods used in the flotation of securities in the new issue market. They are public issues, offer for sale, placement and rights issues.
