Arokiaraj Albert joined Bharathidasan University as a programmer in 1987. He has developed various software packages for the university including automation software for library, entrance examination and several other database-driven applications. He was the administrator of the university's official web site, www.bdu.ac.in. and www.ugcascbdu.org. Currently he has retired from his service since June30, 2022
He has conducted computer awareness programmes in various level of students and Government employees from various sectors. He has actively contributed to the massive development of the University Informatics Centre in various aspects.
He is one of the key people behind the organizing of video-conferencing for online viva voce examinations and interviews. He is performing the role of the UGC statistical officer from 2005. He has organized various events and his areas of expertise are Database management systems and web design.
He received his M.Sc., Mathematics, degree & Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science Applications from Bharathidasan University, M.Ed. Degree from Anamalai University and M.C.A. Degree from Madurai Kamaraj University.
